.....or took a shot over 150 yards in 3 years.

Figured I'd better take one out for an evening before she forgets what to do about it.

Lefty huh? Good luck with your hunting. I used to put in for what I called my "long range" tag. Shots were always guaranteed to be 600+ yards.

It was hard to sneak up on anything in this canyon. The deer could see you from a long ways off.

Yep, that is in Oregon. Not the hells canyons, but it's still a steep bastid. This area used to be covered in sage, but a big fire wiped them out. Now it's pretty bare. The last buck I shot there was nearly 700 yards away.

95 % of the time i hunt with a single shot rifle even out west .
