.....or took a shot over 150 yards in 3 years. Figured I'd better take one out for an evening before she forgets what to do about it.

Lefty huh? Good luck with your hunting. I used to put in for what I called my "long range" tag. Shots were always guaranteed to be 600+ yards. It was hard to sneak up on anything in this canyon. The deer could see you from a long ways off.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

This area used to be covered in sage, but a big fire wiped them out. Now it's pretty bare. The last buck I shot there was nearly 700 yards away.

95 % of the time i hunt with a single shot rifle even out west .
