Are the barrel contours the same or different between the Ruger American Predator and the Go Wild rifles?

Specifically, in the 6.5 Creedmoor with 22" barrel length versions.

Really interested in trying one of these rifles as a "rainy day" rifle when I don't want to hunt with one of my nice rifles.

The Go Wild is slightly more expensive, but come already Cerakoted.

How does the factory standard blued Americans hold up when sitting all day in the rain?

Overall, I think the Rugers are a step above the Savage Axis.

Love my American 6.5 Crede Go Wild Camo Predator Edition.
It’s an accurate SOB with all of the factory ammo I’ve tried in it. So much so, that I haven’t even bought a set of reloading dies for it.

Barrel contour seems about the same as my other Ruger Americans, but it does have a factory threaded muzzle on the one I bought.

.750ish just behind the thread protector on my Go Wild 6.5prc
.725ish just behind the thread protector on my 6.5 Creedmoor Predator
The Go Wild does not come with a thread protector, just the brake. Ruger Customer Service doesnt carry a thread protector for it either, according to them.

No thread protector for the Go Wild? Ouch! How loud is that brake going to be when hunting without hearing protection on?

It’s not that bad.
