I kill 50-75 a year. I have only ever killed 2 over 300. One this spring was 314.5, that is the biggest one I have ever weighed. The other was bigger than by a bit, but by how much I don't know. For sure it did not scare 400 (nowhere close), and probably not 350 either. That one was 5 years ago down by Ozona. I have killed a dozen or so between 250 and 285. I carry scales and weigh everything I can. I have had quite a few fool me, both ways.

If I had seen this thread in time I probably would have guessed Barry's around 220-225. Those missing ears really throw it off and make it strange to look at.
