Good friend (back in the 70's) got the "snip". He and his wife didn't wait long enough. She got 🤰 pregnant!
Caused quite a few problems. The future of their marriage was questionable....until the kid was born.
There was, thank goodness, no doubt who "daddy" was! They were still on shaky ground for about 2 more years before they both settled down.

after two kids, went to get the snip. doc said wait for kids to make 2 yrs old first. number 3 born right after that wait... got the snip... eliminated a whole lot of stress in our next several decades...
the snip was relatively painless, really not different than a hornet sting or a blood blister causing event...trauma pain for a few minutes, then just the reminder pain for a day or so...
all in all, less painful than withstanding a typical PMS episode...

Uncle is an MD, he knew docs in that field. Finally found one that would do it.

I got snipped and was still hot after a year, the doctor was ready to schedule a looks see, and finally tested a negative, he still mentioned it to his patients.

Insurance paid for me to get cut.with the first wife. Had to pay 30k to get it reversed for the 2nd wife. Couldn't move for 3 weeks. Theres more to the story.
