It is outstanding handle material for sure.
I have 3 knives I made a while back that I keep threatening to use, but
mostly just look at them.

Yeah, I am considering selling some personal knives. I can text a pic of a couple
Musk Ox handled knives to serious interested potential buyers.
I will have to do some sorting and price calculating.

PS: Posting pics on 24hr is a pain for me.
I thing GW has the only Musk Ox handled knife I have ever sold to my best recolection.

Bottom pic, bottom knife. 6 1/2" oal, CPM M4. No pattern name. One off knife.
Second from bottom knife. 8" oal, 154CM, one off drop point.
Third from bottom knife. 8" oal, S30V, GP 8
Fourth from bottom knife. 6 3/4" oal S30V, bird & trout.
---Top knife. 8 1/2" oal, S35VN Bob Loveless pattern. --- Not for sale!!!
Other 4 knives asking $400 each.
Middle pair (GP-8 & BnT) as set for $ 700. Some slight discoloration from sheath.

Did you find a source for musk ox horn and/or a knife made with it???
Doubt if I acquire any more, but you never know and a possible source would be good to know.

WOW!!!! Looking at some pics and prices for musk ox horn, I will be doubling the prices
of any musk ox horn handled knives I might sell. Damned near the price of gold.
