I see midway lists it as 1-8, but not in stock. At $799 for a stainless, and a $300 Greyboe Trekker black friday stock, that's a lot of gun for not much money. I agree. Add a solid trigger and man, you have a lot of a great rifle for not too much bling. They come with Tunney’s now. Aren’t they non adjustable though? I see midway lists it as 1-8, but not in stock. I got my hands on one yesterday, but it had a trigger lock on it as it was in a big box store. To me it looked like it had an adjustment screw, but I could be wrong. Ok I found the release, 3-4 lbs non-adjustable.

Thoughts? Is it a typo, or is Remington trying to pioneer.... something...? Tikka is making the T3x lite and superlite s/s rifles in .243 with 1:8" twists nowadays. Wish they'd do the 6 Creed - better mousetrap.

I put an ebay new takeoff 1-8 7mag barrel on a LH action for junior for Christmas. Will see how it does. Wanted less...SA or .473 LA, but beggars can't be choosers looking for LH actions.
