Maybe, as different warehouses sometimes have differing versions of the same item.

Always found it odd when the wife lived in the Central Valley that the store there didn't carry the Sunmaid organic raisins that were packed 20 miles away, but they had the regular raisins. I could get the organic ones in WA where I worked .

And yeah, just another example of shrinkflation. I just checked the package I got before I retired. As I no longer work and am only in shoes AND socks for a very short part of the year. the dozen or so pairs I already have might last me forever.

these were labeled as "Outdoor Trail Socks" not just full cushion as the ones linked today.

And they were on the order of $14 not $23 .

Yup got a couple of them packs a few years back. But they are different than the others mentioned previously of which I also have a few. The ones you pictured are much thicker.

I've acquired a whole pile of them in the bottom of my closet and get several years of wear out of them. So there's bundles that haven't been opened yet.

I was in the Twin Falls store and they didn't have those, at least not with the other socks. Those are the ones I was looking for.

I'd order them online then, with enough other staples like canned tuna and such to get the free shipping.

I have some of those. IMO they are at least as good as Smartwool, but about 1/4 the price. They are a short sock that might not be the best for taller boots but they work fine for the shoes and hiking boots I mostly wear.

I have a pack of the "Weatherproof" socks as well. They are a thinner sock, but sometimes that is all that is needed.

I’ve picked up the Omniwool 3 pair /$15 at the Sams Club…

Made in USA.

Heavier weight.

But this year, they dont have them…

Crapp-o eddie bauer or something hiking socks…

Ross’s fashion for less or whatever..

Has made in USA socks, 2 pair for $8.

Various brands. Muck, realtree, wolverine…

FWIW, I wear merino socks 365 days a year here and summers are a hot MF'er.
