Any body have the Winchester 1885 in .243 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor. Interested in knowing what they weigh.

I had a .243 Miroku made 1885. However, like a fool, I sold it a few months ago. Dude had mucho cash money and I caved. It was rather light… I would estimate around 6-6.25 lbs. It was very accurate, a good looker and very nice in the field.

Yup, about 6 - 6.5#.

I've seen manufacture descriptions on them where they say they'll go about 8#, but that's a misprint. The High Walls are quite a bit heavier.

Mine is a Browning Low Wall in .260 - nice rigs.
