Dan has built a couple of rifles for me several years ago. I always like him, congrats on a super group.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

MWN: That is simply stunning! I would have to opine that to be "absolute accuracy"! Thanks for sharing this important info/feat. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

To qualify as a record it must be 5 shots, Unless it is fired from a "Heavy Bench" or Rail-Gun, and then it must be 10 shots.

I don’t think I can hold that tight at 100 yards, much less at 200 and touch off a round. That’s amazing shooting. I don’t think I could get a 1 shot group that small… i have a 100 yards but never at 200 yards that is one heck of an accomplishment. sure would like to know what powder this great shooter uses ?

Williamsport shoots nothing but 10 shot for record at 1,000. Do you know were the 200 yard record was shot? Grand Junction Colorado is a couple miles from Williamsport PA.

Fantastic accomplishment! Dan was always tinkering with cartridges other than the usual 6ppc, do you know what he was using for the record ????? I believe he was the smith that built my Uncle's 460 Weatherby Magnum Sillywet Pistol.
