Also, per above, numerous black bears, couple of moose, raptors/owls & porkies, while on stand.
Got lynx, coyotes & bigfoot, on trail cams

Regularly - coyotes, fox squirrels, hawks of all sorts, turkeys, annoying birds like blue jays, wood peckers, and little flitty birds like nuthatches.
Occasionally - bobcats, crows, owls, quail, pheasants, red foxes, and weasels.
The oddest thing was a sheep with an ear tag, probably somebody's escaped FFA project.

IN the big woods of NW WIs. I will se a squirrel once in a while. This fall I saw a weasel though. I rarely see a deer up north.. Down in SE WIs. I see more deer and nothing else except Sand Hill Cranes flying over and I like to see them...

Sleeping on the ground under a tarp one night while moose hunting, I awakened as something small, close by, came running... bounced off my face... and kept going. No idea what it was,, but that will wake you right up! City folk just don't get it.

The only true cost of having a dog is its death.
