The only vaccine I have gotten since I retired from active duty in 2014 is the shingles vaccine. I got shingles 2 years before I retired from the USN and know for damn sure I don't ever want it again. I have refused to take the flu vaccine and the covid vaccine. Since I retired I have had nothing stronger than the common cold. Eating right, exercising and spending a lot of time outside goes a long ways to staying healthy.
You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!
