Love it. Slavyanka just took another 500g out of the freezer this morning. We’ll eat on it for a week.

When I was in Europe one of the hotel breakfasts had scrambled eggs and caviar on toasted baguette slices. Just wonderful.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I've only had salmon egg caviar, not the good sturgeon stuff, but no thanks, I'll pass from now on

Definitely a variation in taste, even amongst the salmon. Pink salmon seems the mildest, to my taste. Coho, the fishiest. Chinook is OK. Haven’t had Sockeye caviar.
The sturgeon caviar is finer, and more bit to it. Seems like it pops in your mouth when you eat it. Been a while so I can’t recall the flavour, but it was good.
Place I go makes Alaska salad - a casserole of some white-fleshed fish, mayo, a bunch of other stuff, then a layer of caviar on top. Awesome.

Always wanted to try Moreys Fish Market in MN. _-Lorjam Herring Caviar from Lake Superior.
