Somebody posted a link to the trailer for this movie last year, and I’ve been wanting to see it ever since.
Tonight I stopped by Walmart for some Groceries, and snooped through the $5 bin of older movies.
“American Frontier Trilogy”. Three Movies, the above mentioned, “Sicario” which I ain’t heard of, and “Wind River”, which Penny and I saw in the theaters few years ago.
I was pretty pleasantly surprised by “Hell Or High Water”!
Good acting, (I’m partial to Jeff Bridges) real good plot, and some pretty good action scenes.
I sorta liked the way Toby discouraged the locals from pursuing after the last robbery!😀
If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s probably worth your while.
Lord knows I don’t recommend movies other than classics or Westerns too often!😟

Great movie, thought Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine were outstanding.

Wind River. Is that the one about the Livestock Agent that killed the guys that raped the Native American gal? If so, that was a good movie and I enjoyed it.

Wind River” was good, in my opinion, not great though. I thought it predictable and thought the shoot outs overdone.
Modern movies seem to replace drama and dialogue with action and violence. At least that’s my opinion.
It could be I’m prejudice against modern movies, or maybe I’m just old enough to remember what a good movie is!😀

Those are all Taylor Sheridan movies….he’s the guy that did Yellowstone, 1883, 1923 and a bunch of other stuff including buying the 6666’s ranch in Texas.

The video I posted for the movie led me to the “Bullit” car chase with a song that seems sorta outta time and strange!😀
Love McQueen and the Charger though! (Mustangs are like bellybuttons)

I still have no idea why I can link in a video only sometimes!🤬

Yep. 6666’s Ranch is just up the road from me, as the crow flies, near Guthrie, TX.
Both my Great & Great Great Grandfather cowboyed on the 6666’s ( Four Sixes) Ranch for the original owner, Burk Burnett.

We went to the theater to see it, and it was worth it.
Not often we do that anymore.
The outing has gotten way expensive, the experience less valuable.

I haven’t seen too many movies advertised in the past few years that make me wanna go to a theater!
Me and my nephew were planning on a Sunday matinee for “Killer Of The Flower Moon”, if he canceled to watch woke nascar!
I gave up pro sports completely, and that includes nascar now.
Notice I don’t use capital letters!😀

Haven’t been to a theater in YEARS.

Was going to rent “Killers of The Flower Moon” on Amazon Prime, the other night.
$19.99. Fugg that. 😡
