I used to wear a tie everyday. Once I started running my own business, that stopped. I now only wear a tie for funerals or weddings. Still occasionally wear a jacket on business dinners or if doing some client calls.
Around the house it's flip-flops and shorts.

I’ve seen people out in public in their bathrobes, and slippers That is what Ingwe was alluding to. Hell I've seen people board airplanes in pajama pants, sleeveless undershirts and jap flaps for chrissakes.

In the winter, I wear sweats with a hoodie and Crocs around the house, out back with the dog and whilst at the grill.
Not allowed past the end of the driveway dressed like that. I agree with this rule.

Out side the house I wear cowboy boots and a trench coat . If we have guests I put on underpants. Unless your trench coat is an original Burberry's from London, you're not really "in style."  L.W.
