Savage had two different height folding sights that looked like that. In my limited experience the taller of the two came on the early 110 rifles, while I've only seen the shorter of the two on 99's. I can't tell for sure which one this is. The 99 elevator should have a "2" on it.

The first elevator is not factory for any 99.
Does the elevator for the fold down have a # on it? Should be 1 or 2 or it's not right.
I see lots of guns with the wrong sights. Just because it came from a given gun does not mean it left the factory that way.

All I can say is that they came off from 99's that I have previously owned. By the time I get a padded envelope and postage in it, I'm basically giving it away. I'm not trying to deceive anybody.
