I happened into a Miroku '92 w/tang switch. It's in the forward/FIRE position. No, it's
definitely not corrosion, LOL.

I am wondering if there is a lock-out feature designed this way.
Old-school reliance on the half-cock, alone?
I checked the Winchester manual online, covering the tang switch model.
I found no such mention.
Thanks.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a YouTube video on that

Got the stock off. Turns out it just needed some Kroil, and working-in. Thankfully, LOL.
