Saltwater fishing George Poveromo is pretty good. The best, IDK. That's pretty subjective.
A lot of people in those areas of expertise that are probably outstanding that you will never hear of, imo.

Big game 1 fat fawn
Saltwater fishing Never done it.
Freshwater fishing I can usually catch a snot rocket
Rifle I can normally hit the trash can
Pistol I may as well throw it at what I am trying to hit
Shotgun I average 20% on sitting birds
Trapping I can hold my own
Etc? The neighbor lady won't let me play that anymore.

Crappie Killer: I have partaken of ALL the disciplines you listed above, over my years.
But I claim to be the best at NONE of them.
I did and do enjoy them all and perhaps in a way that makes me the "champion"?
Life is NOT a contest, but a journey, that one should make every effort to enjoy every day.

There are two items in that list that I am not comfortable with. Saltwater fishing (I have done a lot of surf fishing but the rest of my saltwater experience is limited) and trapping. Any of the others I am a duck to water.

Who here can navigate big country without an ONX or GPS? I’m one of the younger guys here being in my mid 30s, but other hunters I run into look at me funny when they see my compass and paper map.

It's not a competition.
Just be happy. I respectfully disagree. I compete daily against myself to become better at something or learn a new skill. One of last year’s goals was to catch a coyote. I am up to 12 since season opened Nov 15. This year I am going to finally dedicate time to learn how to properly throw a cast net. For me, it is about recognizing a perceived weakness or lack of a skill and setting a goal and holding myself accountable. I couldn’t give two fooks what someone else does.
