Took this 8 point on Dec 6 here in Michigan. Got it during our muzzleloader season. New CVA Wolf V2 with 245 Aerotip Powerbelt with 100gr of Pyrodex underneath, Vortex scope..,and it dropped him immediately at 65 yards. Probably my 6-7th deer with a smokepole.

Congratulations. I enjoy hunting with a muzzleloader.

Way to go RAS. I didn’t think there were any deer left in the UP !!!
Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

By the way, this buck weighed 163, dressed. Big bodied buck. My area isn’t know for large racks but there are some big bodied deer around.

Congrats on the nice muzzleloader buck!
Those CVA Wolf rifles are really accurate. I picked up one this year after retiring my 20+ year old MK-85. Accuracy of the Wolf is great! Hopefully I’ll get to try it out this season.

I have a buddy in Pennsylvania that owns just one rifle - a CVA wolf in 50 caliber. He has downed many whitetails and one bear with this rifle. - Sherwood

It's nice to read when Powerbelts harvest deer. The Platinum Aerotips are my favorite of the bunch.
Nice buck Nice (phone) camera.
I'm amazed that Paul said that. For Paul's Master did not live in the manner Paul describes there. Paul's Master lived opposite of those sayings you wrote.

Years ago, I hunted within restricted areas using my 12 gauge slug gun. When the rules changed to allow ML rifles, I wasted no time buying a CVA Optima. Far less recoil, better accuracy, and lower cost per shot were reasons that motivated me. I'm glad that you downed this dandy buck with your Wolf rifle. Good shooting! - Sherwood
