Regular old school Remington 550-1 that I’d like to put a red dot on. I think they’re 3/8 (9mm).
I’ve seen some advertised but when reading the reviews, they seem mixed at best for the older dovetails.
I know there’s Weaver adapters, but picatinny would greatly expand options… any advise?

Thanks, I hadn’t seen that one yet, but I have a rounded receiver and not sure it will work after reading some of the reviews

I went ahead and ordered one of them…might be able to get my buddy to mill a little curvature into the bottom of the base if it doesn’t snap on… thanks

i use the same utg dovetail to weaver/pic adapters with great success on several CZ 452/455 rimfires along with burris signature zee rings.

Thanks, I hadn’t seen that one yet, but I have a rounded receiver and not sure it will work after reading some of the reviews Just a follow up on the UTG adapter… they WILL fit the rounded receiver of the Remington 550-1… I’ll follow up with another post when I get it all put together.
