For the people of NH having the first primary is both a subject of pride and an important and dependable bump for the economy. NH depends a great deal on tourism and campaigns are like tourist, they buy a lot of hotel rooms, meals, booze, and other consumer items that pump a lot of dollars into the economy. Every four year, you could count on it, until somebody you don't really care about tells you that they're going to take it away from you.

South Carolina is certainly more racially diverse than NH, but the majority of people who live in NH would probably prefer to maintain the current demographic profile.

I would nod my head in agreement with them and encourage them to stay there. Please.
