Ditto. First I’ve ever heard of PB on a burger.

Just…..why? 🤮

Same reason folks put pineapple on their pizza??

Wouldn't touch that, either.

They make great desserts and limeades but their food blows.

This^^^^

Only get slushes and ice cream desserts.

Their burgers are awful, never took the appeal with me.

Now the onion rings are good. But that’s IT.

Also posted in the Food and Cooking forum. Down there, I said:

Except for the grilled onions, it sounds just fine. PB on a burger is a taste revelation. PB, bacon, and cheese makes a darn fine sammich and the addition of a burger patty can't hurt. But adding onions? Nope.

Back when I was a HS freshman, the school lunch folks served up PB, bacon and dill pickle slices on toasted bread sandwiches one time. Lots of those sandwiches never saw anything but the trash bin. Lots of hiungry kids that day. PB and bacon would be doable - lost me at cheese and grilled onions . . . or dill pickle slices.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. YMMV

Goober Burger!!! Never had one with bacon but the Goober Burger originated at Wheel-In drive-in in Sedalia, Mo. in the 1940s. Google it.
Wheel-In was demolished for a hi-way intersection project several years ago. It was the cool place to be when I was in high school.

Goober burgers are pretty good. Haven’t had one in a long time. Heard about them m and ended up trying it Mom always said try it once if you don’t like it don’t eat it.
Wife likes a pepperoni pizza that a restaurant does with PB. I think its just ok. Been along time since she has had any either

Sort of like potato salad on gumbo. Sounds ridiculous but tastes freakin awesome. Peanut butter, bacon, cheese and beef…it’s what’s for dinner!

Peanut butter makes me nearly ill to look at it. Looks like something the dog left that you have to scrape off your boot.

Some things just don't go together such as mustard on ice cream. Each to his own but I would have to be real hungry to eat peanut butter. I do eat roasted peanuts though.
