Uh, not even close. FFP vs SFP

I could give a schitt less about FFP in that mag range.
Besides I do have a rangefinder.

Move the min mag up to 5 or 6, then I might begin to care a little.

Especially if it doesn't have illumination.

Contrary to some thinking, there have really been more than a few things actually killed with SFP scope.

FF is completely unnecessary for hunting.
Capped windage and a zero stop are the best.

All these stupid fu cks thinking they need to use a FFP scope to make hits way out there are funny as hell. SFP has gotten it done for a very long time. What kind of scopes do you think Carlos Hathcock used? I think a lot here just don't have the actual experience, and believe what they hear. A FFP scope actually sucks at close range, where most game is killed, Where it really matters at long distance, you'll have your scope magnification cranked up, where it won't matter if you are using a first or second focal plan scope. On a 2-10 power scope, you guys are arguing about something that doesn't make a schit bit of difference.

That is very reticle dependent.

Option of either SFP or FFP, illum or not and like always Leupold will sell everyone before it's even made.

Reticles are well thought out.

That's an even bigger product line than I was expecting. Hope those guys in Beaverton have enough added capacity and like overtime.

The MK 4 1-4.5 is going to dominate High Power.

Going to be a fun time in Vegas if I ever get out of my booth.

I've had a lot of success with both over the years. And while I don't disagree that a SFP that tops out at 10 isn't a deal breaker as far as reticles, I still prefer a well designed FFP if given the choice.

Use what suits your needs and sensibilities.

Sorry bsa, but this is nonsense. There are a lot of variables within that paragraph that can change the conclusion. You've made a pretty strong assertion based on a bunch of assumptions, which I would argue. Have you spent much time using FFP scopes?

I'm betting Carlos Hathcock got from Point A to Point B just fine in his 80's technology vehicle, too, but that doesn't make it the best choice in today's world.

Jesus, just order one and stop the look at me guys shït. It's sad. Hint!

We do not have these scopes on our site yet as we are waiting for enough detail to build correct pages, so asking through this thread seems to me to be a smart move as at this time it cannot be ordered through our site. Hopefully these scopes as well as other brands new for 2024 products will be on our site in short order.

Trijicon should follow suit and offer similar or offer the 2-10x36 in 42mm with the reticle from the 2.5-15 and a SFP option.

Funnily enough but I dig their 2-10x36 FFP.

It’s great to have options and good gear we have.

I do like the 2.5x15 SFP as well. Trijicon has made some good gear as of late.
