Hugh;
Good afternoon sir, I hope the winter has been tolerable on your side of the big hills and you're all well.

We're supposed to get our first serious cold snap of the year and truly since mid October, so we're having an old fashioned '80's Okanagan winter and I'm not complaining.

Thanks for the link, I just finished listening to True North's Andrew Laughton talk about it as well. His father is a Canadian Armed Forces vet and he knows a few too and they overwhelmingly are not in favor of this latest turn of events.

Well truly it's been going there for awhile no doubt, but the point he made was many vets stated they'd not enlist into today's Canadian Forces.

Hopefully we can see some meaningful change and get back to a place where our best and brightest want to join and be proud to do so as well.

All the best to you this year Hugh.

Dwayne

My favorite part of the article was this:

Quote:
‐----------
Alan Okros, a professor at Royal Military College, writes that the military will never escape its harmful practices unless it can move beyond an identity that prioritizes “violence and aggression, institutional unity and hierarchy."
-----------

That paragraph right there shows how absurd that whole edition was. The very essence of a military is "violence and aggression, institutional unity and hierarchy." That's what militaries the world over for millennia have been because that's what a military HAS TO BE. You don't have a military if you don't have those elements.

The underlying message from those who wrote in that edition appears to be to disband the Canadian military. That would probably make it easier for their Marxist goals to be accomplished.
