Anybody have a bansner sheep hunter stock opened for a proof sendero light barrel? If so, any chance of a top and side view?

*or pictures of any bansner sheep hunter from the top would be appreciated, even standard barrel versions

Don't have a pic handy but I have a PacNor #5 in a Sheep Hunter.

I don't think I'd go any bigger for fear of sanding through the shell at the forend tip..

just a fyi mcmillan has a lot of stocks with proof barrel contours in inventory if your looking to purchase some thing

Thanks gentleman.

I wonder if the latest version of the sheep hunter is different - with a wider forend? As they list the proof sendero as an option in the barrel inletting - it sure doesn’t look like it would fit in the stock shown above.

if mcmillan is putting that barrel in their hunters edge sporter stock it will fit in a sheep hunter

It’s slightly deceiving as the barrel is not resting IN the channel at the forend; but you get the idea. Tried to be as true in the vertical as I could be.
