My fault, stayed up all night Saturday , slept until noon yesterday, went to sleep at 8 pm last night. It will take staying up until regular bed time 21 hours from now to get straightened out.

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

Woke up when the radio went off a few minutes ago. Neighboring dept has a woods fire. Dont know the cause, yet, but I'm guessing a downed power line. We got some ice and snow since about 10 pm. It doesn't look like much in my yard, but according to the radar, some areas got hit harder than we did. Cant see the road, so not sure if it's covered or not. Bridges will be slick for sure. It's cold, 16 f according to my therm.

Good morning Hanco and all! Got up @ 0430 and started on my first cup of coffee. Have to be @ work tonight @ 2300 so I'll go back to bed sometime this afternoon. 25+ years of night shift makes for a lousy sleep schedule. I'm also the type that when I wake up I'm awake. rare is the time I can go back to sleep. My mind takes off @ 100mph thinking about the stuff I need to accomplish for the day. 32* now and a 20% chance of rain today. May spend some time in the shop. May spend some time shopping for a new tumbler. Hope everyone has a Great Day!
ETA: A good friend of mine who recently moved to Montana sent me a picture yesterday of close to 300 Elk from out of his front window. Mostly cows and some raghorns. He is south of the Missouri RB's. I ask him to keep an eye out for Roundoak and to punch him in the face if he sees him.

Ok, just heard on radio.... downed power line and the fire is out. Think I'll try to take another nap before daylight.

Yep maintenance department Yep, stayed caught up with work orders. They took a couple of hours in the morning, had rest of day to fool around unless an emergency call came in.

My sleep-wake cycle is permanently screwed up. I have been off for the past week and when I am off I slide into staying up until 3-4 am and sleeping until about 11:00. It always sucks getting up to be at work at 630 on Monday. Then screwed up again a few days later. Been going through this cycle for 25+ years.
I did lie down about midnight and actually managed to sleep about 3 hours so I should make it through the day.

I was wore out last night and went to bed about 9. I've had call for several days in a row and was thankful I didn't have to go to work last night with -15 degree temps.
i woke about 0430 and yay! they let me sleep!

LOL Lots of spare time at work between emergency calls for ten plus years is a factor. Volunteer Fire EMS. Averaged a call a day basically. Calls can come at any time and last however. I can sleep anywhere, anytime due to the uncertainty of the next hours of sleep. Same with current job to an extent. Never know when we might be able to grab extra sleep so have the body to where it can fall asleep fairly fast and sleep. Only time I can't is if its hot. Cannot deal with the heat, anything over about 80 is just flat miserable and lay and toss and turn sweating away.

I always go right to sleep when I go to bed about 10. Sometimes I’ll wake up for a while around 2 or 3 If I wake up after 4, I’m awake for the duration. I might as well get up and do something useful because I’m not going back to sleep.
