I'm starting to run out of Fudd guns. I have a pair of Cooey single shots one in 20 and the other a 12. That's a bit of Canadiana Fudd.

The 20 scored a couple this day out.

Here's a Browning (Sako) Safari in 222. Nice little rifle.

Some very nice rifles in this thread. I prefer hunting with walnut and polished blue. Mostly used a 30-06 Vanguard deluxe myself this year.

This one meets all the requirements for a Fudd patch, except I used a 180 gr Sierra spitzer instead of a RN.

German Mauser 98 sporterized shooting your typical 170gr Speer hot-cor semi-spitizer.

And some more pics of fudd style.

Yep & yep here the same. Except the deer killed with the 141 this yr was with the Speer 180 FN. 760 is scoped, the 141 has a tang peep sight.

There are 1000s of them here and with enough variations that there are some serious collectors of the brand. They are sturdy single shot shotguns, well made. The older M84s were all steel and low grade walnut. True Fudd.

Growing up he said that Frank James and the Younger clan were "family friends". Then they moved to Montana and he met even more colorful characters

True. I see "Elmer" on a gun forum and my mind automatically switches to Keith. My bad
