What’s with old fuggs having to post all their colon health issues on a supposed hunting and shooting forum?
You don't have to be that old to have problems. A good friend died at age 47 due to ass cancer. That was before they started recommending your first butt cam at age 45. And it's age 40 if you have colon cancer in your family.
It's good to get your butt cams on schedule. Good preventive and a horrible death if you fear the cam and get unlucky.

Every week there is a colon thread from some do nothing boomer that doesn't hunt or shoot. The fire should be named "Old Fudds Health Issues"

I nearly died FROM having one. GI doc found something he couldn't check with the scope. Scheduled me for surgery. Nearly died twice during the 16 days following surgery. 1x dehydration due to an Ileus. 1x sepsis due to non-seal. Multiple complications and follow up surgeries. Still alive, Thank you, Lord. However, will never be the same.
Kicker... Two year post op, finally got around to looking at test results. 16 biopsies of the "problem area". All 100% normal. Zero cancer. Zero pre-cancer.

A good friend of mine also died in his mid forties from colon cancer. No family history.
A brother in law died of colon cancer. He didn’t want to bother with a colonoscopy. Finally the lower abdominal pains got too bad and he asked his wife if black poop was normal? 😳
