A big Mexican service hand was using them the other day in -30 plus windchills to un-due a water line. He couldn’t get it to break free. I tried, I got pissed because they were to small and too hard to adjust with gloves on.

I went to my truck and got some Mee-nards ones, easy peasy then. I told him those were gaaayyy and that I would give them to my granddaughter 😆

About 5 years ago Kingston turned me onto Knipex.

I've since added a few.

Love the Knipex cutting tools. The 7101's shown below have made thousands of cuts on barbwire and 1/8" stainless rod. Great fencing tool. Fits right into the side pocket on your pants.

Those must be fresh outta the package.
I don't own a single tool that is that shiny and clean.

After experiencing quite a range, and some junk, there is a great feeling when using an excellent tool - that
"no comparison" feeling.

About the only brand of plier-type tools I use. I especially like their "plier-wrench, smooth jaws that open and close parallel rather than at an angle, very handy working on machines where you might have nuts or bolt heads in numerous sizes or hard to get at. Also can be racheted in a manner of speaking.

They're fairly new and don't get used much. Not sure if I've even used everyone of them.

Lowes around here closed out all the knipex products to go full on Klein. 50% off and they went fast. Hit 4 stores one day in some traveling between towns/jobs and got the only 2 pair I could grab. Shelves went bare, guessing employees.

I'll agree they're likely the best made these days

When Diamond Horse Shoe tools were still in production I preferred their slip joint pliers, and not by a little. A LOT

Evidently, they don't cut finger nails.

Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

No kidding. Turned you on and you went all out. The cobra channel lock is the best tool ever invented. Use it more than anything in my entire set.

I keep a pair of cutters on my boat just incase I ever have to cut a hook that's embedded in somebody.
