we lease about 1600 acres, river bottom cornfields and draws , to hardwood ridges and old farmland. we have some spots that flood the cornfields every year that we have permanent duck blinds on. we have 2 goose pits in corn fields. a bunch of switch grass barriers along property edges and water holes, Switch grass borders around small food plots, some hinge cut areas we have some cover areas of a switchgrass Pea mix that is really good at handling snow loads. A non-commercial bird preserve permit lets us stock and hunt pheasant from Sept 1 through April. we shoot some really good bucks and a whole bunch of doe every year. and we post he ever living crap out of it and are relentless with prosecuting those found trespassing.
