Evoke sounds more like a damn perfume name. It's a bit on the porky side too. I hope they prove to be good rifles though.

I recently (Dec) bought the Ridgeline FFT 6.5 PRC. Weighs under 6 lbs 5ozs scoped. Shoots under an inch with some factory loads. Have not reloaded for it yet. So far I'm ok with the +2K price. It will be a deer rifle for south central NC, WV mountains. I am reloading Hornady 129/143gr and Barnes 100 grain TTSX.

Not if only offering right hand models. And not if they do offer a left hand model with a huge upcharge. I intended to buy a Mesa in left hand and found out they charge another $250 for the left hand option. That is a no go for me.

Not if only offering right hand models. And not if they do offer a left hand model with a huge upcharge. I intended to buy a Mesa in left hand and found out they charge another $250 for the left hand option. That is a no go for me. I agree, though I paid the up charge…. Been happy with the rifle.

Bout everything in a hunting gun I don't want.
Bought a ridgeline in 6.5x284. Shot ok. But the rifle felt chincy to me. Went down the road. They cloned a 700 alright, but just didn't no it quite as good.
Glad the put the pistol dick handle on it with that muzzle break.
That will really help that 6.5 prc cartridge.....but you know looks kill lol. Good prop for a picture.

Well some of us are mostly azz-sitters and won't fret a little more weight in such a rifle.  I will say that when you add a can to something like that (especially at 20+ inch barrel length) the balance can quickly get too nose-heavy. If it was intended for suppressed use, I'd have gone 18" with a slightly lighter contour and a flared bell at muzzle to allow for a 5/8x24 threads. Then it might balance and still be portable.
