I’m slow rolling one. I did the 6 ARC and bought the Brownell’s/Faxson 1:8 twist barrel. It likes 95 grr Hornady SST’s, but that’s about it. I want to read reports on different 22 ARC barrels from real users, before I finish my build up. I’m waiting on my last part for my lower to come in and I’ll finish it. I’m going between a 20” and 22” barrel, as I want a more precision style AR for this build. If I don’t finish it for another year, I’m not sweating it.

I have one up and running.

Saturn 20" Barrel

I did a Re-Barrel on a precision 204 Ruger Build.

So far I have managed to come up with Three Box's of Hornady 75 ELD-M Ammunition, and Two Box's of 88 ELD-M Ammunition. I have a Hornady Die set, and Hornady Case Gauge. So far I have only fired 20 rounds through it. Looks like it will be a shooter. Now I need some nice weather without other priorities getting in the way.

I’ve been eyeing the Satern barrel that you have. I’ve got too much stuff going on at the moment to order one. If I don’t get it finished until next year, no sweat.

I have quite a fhuqking few 22 PPC AFI's in both Krunchenticker and Turnbolt. It is simply fhuqking SENSATIONAL. Hint.

Pass the 88's or 90 Beer Cans. Hint.

As an aside,I shoot multiple 7" RPM 22-250's,22-250 AI's and Speedmires. The ValCry is a Goat fhuqk. Hint...........

This is a bit off on a tangent but what speeds does an 88 eld make in the ARC vs a 223. Not talking about AR mag confines, just in general

Figure a 100fps velocity advantage in the ARC,due it's larger vessel. Hint.

Conjoin same, with the shorter case length and the ARC is very much at home in AR mag confines and especially so,when talking ASC's. Hint.

The .225" case length advantage, plays well everywhere, whether Krunchenticker or Turnbolt. It takes a 223 AICS mag at 2.550" COAL,to "equal" an ASC Krunchenticker mag's confines and still run slower, due ARC case capacity. Hint.

Teeker CTR 223 mags go 2.600",but are hindered by 8" RPM,which means a 75 ELD ceiling. I have (5) of them(8" Teeker 223's). Hint.

The ARC gets the RPM advantage, case length advantage, case capacity advantage and roll off the floor twisted 1-7" if not better( I drive 6.5" too). Hint.

Sadly, the 223 isn't twisted or housed nicely in regards to COAL anywhere. ARC's are,by literal default. No thang to squirt 90 Beer Cans,in an ARC Krunchenticker and I do. Hint.

The PPC's have shown rather nicely, for a goodly while and Improving same, while fielding sensational brass,do connect ALL dots. The 22 PPC AFI is a fhuqking Giant Killer and easily arranged. Hint.

Good info Stick.

Just trying to figure if I need a 22 ARC or just put a 7 twist barrel on a .378 rem and give it mag room to breathe.

Leaning towards a new 1 in 7 barrel on on one of my 223s. Not discounting the extra gas of the ARC but I've got a lot of 223 brass and a 223 ai that is close to needing rebarreling. It's an adl with a shimmed box and I think I can fit 88s in it.

I savvy and have lots of both. Hint.

I've 7" RPM 223 and 223AI Turnbolts, with a Mike Rock Montucky setting the pace. My 7" RPM Hawk Hill 223 SALAMI is fhuqking AMAZING and billed in accordance. Hint.

The ARC is a mechanically superior Mouse Trap,if only because I fhuqking shoot them all. Hint...........

A 1/8 will steer a 80 ELD just fine.

Folks who actually shoot, know that the modet BC increase from 75 ELD to 80 ELD,is negated by the increase in mass. I also muchly prefer 75 terminal effects. Now you can say you've "seen" one. Pardon wares that exist and the simplistic fact, that I shoot it all and then some. Hint.

Sweetheart,

The 75 ELD M is absolutely the Performace ceiling,in said chambering(s),at 8" RPM. Not that I don't get a kick out of your Drooling Dumbfhuqktitude,as you TRY to talk about wares you've never even seen, let alone "shot". Hint.

As case capacity increases and namely in Speedmire, the game changes,as 88's become viable. Not that you've ever seen or "shot" one of those either. Pardon wares that exist,as you Pretend aloud and I simply shoot it all and then some. Hint.
