Look closely at the pic with the pintail decoy. There’s a cheeky wee gator that spent an hour trying to decide if he wanted to try to eat that decoy or not.

When picking up blocks I asked Pancho if he wanted to bet that I couldn’t grab the little gummer by the throat. He declined, knowing me. Pity, as he would’ve won the bet. Little bugger dove just as I was ready to snatch him up by the neck.

I love Texas and these cats who always take such good care of me. America is still very much alive in many places.

P.S. @ Mackay Sagebrush from Lost River Ammo:

Your defensive custom 10mm rounds were some of the few that were able to easily punch through both sides of that truck and keep on going. I can't wait to run those .44 special and .44 mag rounds of yours that I have. Hopefully, test them on a big whitetail next year in NH. Somehow, I doubt that any deer I manage to put your hot lead to is going very far.

Best regards, y'all. Tokyo and Lisbon trips coming up in February. I'll be damned if I go out like a slug, on my deathbed talking about, 'I wish I'd done more when I had the chance...'

Do it to it and never, ever look back.

Is that just good general advice now or did the doctor give you the long face or something?

Assuming I understand your question, it wouldn't matter either way. That said, my wife, following a clean bill of health and now determined to be cancer free after her recent double mastectomy and associated shytshow medical procedures, is doing great and continues to stun me with her strength and ability to brush off what would crush lesser people and leave them curled up in a ditch begging for help. She just got back from CT after working 3 weeks straight for Pfizer doing a clinical trial for a diabetes drug. Scary what she related to me on the human guinea pigs, but whatever.

We weren't blessed with children, but owe no one anything in this life and have no one to leave anything to. I'd trade everything material in this world to be able to continue my family lineage, but that's not happening, sadly. We've accepted that, and have embraced the idea of our life lived together never looking back and not having any regrets, but for our inability to have children.

Our response to the reality of our life together is pretty simple, I think: love each other hard, defend and protect each other to the death and travel the world, enjoying every single moment we have together and snatch every single opportunity of life in our hands and then queezing. We live life literally on our own terms, and try to be as good and generous as we can to family and friends. Other than that, FTW. That answer your question, I hope?

Having seen how many there are along the coast, I’ve was wondering what the situation was with the lab and alligators, obviously they must have something worked out.

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties your wife has been experiencing.
