Maybe they should learn to be more careful about what they wish for.

The trouble is getting all of us that just want to be left alone to stand up at the same time. Everyone has their own limit and we usually stand up alone when we reach that limit, like Randy Weaver or Marvin Heemeyer. Nobody stands with us. The rest of us just look on to see what the fate will be and when. If the day ever comes when those that just want to be left alone ever stand together, it will be scorched earth and nothing less! But don't worry, I fear that day will never come as most middle aged males are too busy arguing over which Japanese made 4 wheel drive modern day station wagon goes better in the snow.
The left is good at keeping us all scared of losing what we have worked for.

Jan 6th and the blatant political persecution of those who were arrested, the murder of Ashli Babbit would/could have been a trigger event for mass civil disobedience...but, it wasn't. Why was that...why didn't we react with outrage?
Speaking only for myself, I thought the whole thing was a setup from day one, and said as much (with many others) here and elsewhere. Immediately the hotheads on here trashed those of us, hard, with a lot of venom and vile personal attacks(I can understand questioning, intelligence, patriotism etc, but the real hotheads here go right to sexual perversion every single time, wth is that about?) , who had the opinion that it wasn't the right optic, it was a setup, it was the wrong time, and it was playing into the swamp's hands. The result appears to be a few good folks are donating to the families of the J6 detainees, but there is no groundswell of anger across the land...if the J6ers were black, the country would be in flames. In any case the Kangaroo persecution of the J6ers caused little more than, "Boy, are they getting the shaft".
I'm rambling here, but the point is, I wonder what horrific event it would take for overt civil disobedience to erupt...what casualty count...mass arrest...declaration of Martial Law...cancellation of an election...an assassination with government fingerprints? What will the trigger look like?

The J6 insurrection was the tactical equivalent of a panty raid. There is going to be a reckoning, I just don't know the who, when or how. But when it happens the history books will devote a whole chapter.

While I dont doubt this, I was actually thinking more about the Middle East Israel/Iran, hyperinflation here, collapse of the dollar, Taiwan/China, or defaulting on debt. Approximately in that order. Mostly the first.
