Athlon Thermals - Take a Look

While at SHOT Show I looked at many Thermals. Of course the big boys, Pulsar, Armasight & InfiRay, however, when comparing the Athlon Thermals it appears the specs on the Athlons are equal to or superior and the price is lower. At the moment Athlon only offers a few different models, however, these few models are certainly worth considering when you're thinking Thermal. Same or more for less $$$ is always worth a consideration.

Cronus ATS 35m-400 Thermal Monocular - From predator night hunting to surveillance, the Athlon 35M-400 provides an easy and safe way to scan your surroundings at night. Conveniently sized and ergonomically designed to provide fatigue-free extended use on long nights. With a customizable HD display, you can find the perfect configuration to fit you preferences.

Cronus ATS 35ML-400 Thermal Monocular - Stop guessing distances on a pitch black night and extend your shooting capabilities. The Cronus ATS 35ML-400 provides accurate ranging out to 1100 yards. Unsuspecting game remain unaware to this laser rangefinder as no visible light is emitted.

Cronus ATS 35-400 Thermal Scope - Athlon’s entry into thermal optics starts with the Cronus ATS 35-400. This thermal riflescope combines the perfect balance of features and performance, without breaking the bank. 12µ pixel pitch paired with a 1440p display provides a High Definition experience.

Cronus ATS 50-400 Thermal Scope - Dominate the night with the Athlon Cronus ATS 50-400. With the 400x300 12µ thermal sensor, you can detect heat signatures beyond 3,000 yards! Catch every detail with on board recording and display in 1440x1080 HD.

Cronus ATS 50-640 Thermal Scope - The flagship in Athlon’s Cronus ATS line of thermal optics provides the same exceptional performance you’ve come to expect from the Cronus BTR family. The Cronus ATS 50-640 provides stunning detail and crystal clear resolution. An impressive 8.8x6.6° field of view ensures your quarry won’t slip by you

These really have my interest. Might see if they have a presence at the GAO show up in Pa and run up there tomorrow to get my hands on one.

Your opinion on which pulsar model they’d most compare to? The 50-400 scope.

I think it'd be between the PL76548 and the PL76547
