I did

Should I drop the N/L and just say Lodges?

I think it's better with it, maybe even better to list them out.

I wish you continued success in your career.

I used the personal paragraph only because during our teams meeting the new management told us about their personal situations
“New Management”

LOL

Suck it

I wasn't aware that I was supposed to brag up the labor force.

Allow me to introduce myself to our new management team. I joined the company in late May 1988, immediately after graduating from Poplar Bluff Tech. Completing a four-year Missouri State Accredited Apprenticeship in Precision Injection Mold Making by 1992, I furthered my skills in both the technical and managerial aspects. By early 1997, I earned the position of Journeyman and, within six months, was promoted to Leadman over New Build Cell #2.

My expertise in managing costs and overseeing the construction of 12 to 14 new injection molds annually, along with leading a team of 8 to 10 toolmakers, defined my role in mold build for many years. Transitioning to a smaller staffing scenario followed the dissolution of our large tooling department by new management.

Embarking on an exciting role with RPS, I acknowledge the responsibilities of performance, education, technical correspondence, and ROI. While taking on new assignments every couple of weeks, I'm committed to making a daily impact, utilizing my skills in machine operation, mold troubleshooting, and employee education to enhance RPS across all facets.

On a personal note, born in St. Louis, Missouri, I've been happily married to Tricia for over 35 years. With two sons in their early 30s and two granddaughters, family time and socializing with friends are cherished. Actively engaged in our local Rescue Mission and various lodges, my loyalty to the company over the years is undeniable, and I aspire to contribute to its unparalleled growth in the future, standing proudly amidst an era of frequent job changes.

This pretty much nails it.

I agree. Be brief and professional. I’d even shorten the personal paragraph. The reader will likely give your letter 2-3 min at most, so you want the basics to stand out. Your loyalty is already apparent by your work history. It sounds like they’d be wise to keep you around. Confidence without arrogance is the needle you’re trying to thread. Good luck with the change. Oh, if you happen to own a 6.5 Creedmoor, you might want to leave that out. 🤔

So far, I endorse Pharmsellers outline.

Not knowing the circumstances that brought on new management.

Not knowing what your HR director knows or thinks the future holds.

An observation: you called it TRIPE............

Sounds like the HR person is lazy and having the employees do their work to avoid creating an outline of current value added employees.

Pharmseller offers great suggestions.

I would likely use hoping rather than hopping!

Also, hope the new ceo/cfo aren't planning a RIF right off the bat.

Could be the new guys directed the HR person to request this activity.

I have my wife proofread every important thing I write. She not afraid to tell me if something sounds stupid. Maybe even ask a teacher friend, a pastor or some other professional to proof your final draft.

A buncha you fugk tards would get some real experience by working side by side with your coworkers. I worked industrial maintenance at a multi billion dollar company prior to graduating. I graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering. I migrated back towards construction and operations after graduation. A lot of of BS gets posted here. Keep that garbage in the optics thread. LOL

I had a telephone interview for moving in the company I worked for for 25 years.

Being myself I found out the "interviewer" was there for two weeks and asked her what she'd like to know about the company (obviously recorded).

It was a polite way of being flipped the bird and flipping it right back.

You can choose to be on the higher ground, but that doesn't matter anymore.
