Relocate them. Rio Grande Hippo Sanctuary and preserve?

Relocate them. Rio Grande Hippo Sanctuary and preserve? Yep. Get a crew on horseback and herd them north.

Venezuela is right next door and at one point they were so hungry they were killing pets and zoo animals for food. They were almost a nationwide Donner Party camp. Those hippos would make lots of chili and hamburgers. What is the problem with killing them and skinning them for the meat?

No doubt that that's the best solution but it'll never be done.

Damn I thought this was gonna be a fat chick thread! 😭
Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Not as much widespread appeal or usefulness as climate change to the globalists agenda, but surely a hippo problem in Columbia is worth at least a couple billion dollars to the Biden regime.

Relocate them. Rio Grande Hippo Sanctuary and preserve? Moving them to the Rio Grande seems like the best idea. They can join these border security gators. Everybody gotta eat, don't ya know. DF

Someplace I read that the citizens of Columbia don't want them hunted. Why not I can't imagine.
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.

The plan includes the sterilization of 40 hippos a year, transfer some of them to other countries and possibly euthanasia. They say that sterilizing a bull costs about $10k. Is that a castration or a vasectomy? Either one is relatively easy but catching and subduing them is a major issue. You can only dart one on land (if you want it alive) and I'm pretty sure that they mainly leave the water at night. I can see some advantages with a vasectomy. They'll still try to breed and will run off other fertile bulls, hopefully leaving the cow unbred. If they're castrated, they'll just hang out and let other bulls breed them. Out of curiosity, how much do a hippo's balls weigh? It could be an issue for a vet that requires assistance. I still vote for just shooting them but it's their country...until they leave the country. Then they're passing their headaches on to someone else. Think of the fun if they get to the Panama canal.

I ate the one I shot in Mozambique. We made lasagna out of the 5ft backstrap. It was very good since they eat lush vegetation.

Catch’em. Put’em in a feedlot. Finish them out like pigs, sell prime meat.
Problem solved.
If ya can’t catch’em, the .375 option will work without fail. Sell organic, pasture grazed meat. Well, maybe swamp water instead of pasture, but organic nevertheless.
Gotta have a plan. Then work the plan.
