An early post-81, so still has all the nice stuff (other than pinned and recessed), e.g., hammer mounted firing pin, forged steel instead of MIM, no frame mounted lock, no sleeve barrel. Nice find. I've got a few early post-81s as well, including an early post-81 six inch Model 29.

My bud says I didn't know you had a rd butt N frame, I said I don't but they are worth 3 times that. Sold them a couple years later for $150. Lew Horton made some 3" 629s . I thought the boxes were marked and the one I recall was unfluted cylinder. But I'm far from knowledgeable about them
