Hard…and repeatedly punched in the face.
Out by the bike racks beatdown. Hopefully Gilbert steps up to the plate soon and gets it done.

Paul "Harvey" Aurant had a son locked up in JCCC. For an alcohol related infraction. His son's sissy drunk backside wasn't treated to Paul Aurant's standards. On the air one day I heard Paul say, paraphrased but close to his words, "If you want to see the scum of the earth, I mean the lowest of the low, go watch shift change at Jefferson City Correctional Center." Betcha he didn't even know any one of those people personally. Only his incredibly innocent son. I think it was in the mid eighties, not sure and not important enough to look up. What I do know is it took a lot of DWIs in those days to do any time anywhere but city or county jail. But hurt someone with a car while drunk and you went to JCCC or similar. I worked in a similar institution in the state for several years. Resting in peace now Paul Aurant?¿? Showed your other bullying side? RZ.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill.

I loved his alien and bigfoot stories late at night on the radio. Those were the best.

Back in the mid 60s, I was about 7 y.o. Our family of 5 lived in one large room dad built which was intended to be turned into a garage after dad built the house. Dad was a truck driver then and when the alarm clock radio went off in the mornings it woke all of us up. I can still remember to this day hearing Paul Harvey. Good times to live in!

I remember him as someone who would endorse and try to sell any useless product that some fool would pay him to shill. I like to say "Paul Harvey would sell Dog [bleep] in a Bag if someone paid him".

Our junior high burned down. So my Junior and Senior year in high school we went to school from 7:00 to 11:50 and the junior high went in the afternoon. Our bus driver would play Paul Harvey on the radio.
