Custom built .35 Whelen, on a Nazi marked Mauser mod 98. Beautiful walnut stock in sporter style with wrap around forend checkering, checkered drip panels, cheek piece, smooth steel buttplate , steel grip cap and black forend tip. 24” medium heavy barrel. Checkered bolt stem and bolt knob, with jeweled bolt body. Standard gloss sling studs with white spaces, front stud in mounted using a recessed steel insert inlet into barrel channel. Glass bedded. Reciever is still Matt black and retains Nazi Swastika and all markings on reciever. Barrel is free floated and glass bedded. I have shot bison and a few whitetail with this but for where we hunt it doesn’t get used enough. Floor plate has been engraved with “BVM” initial and some scroll work and same style engraving was used to mark the chambering. Timney trigger with side safety and a smooth bolt shroud that matches reciever in finish and an. Has red field scope base and Bushnell Scopecheif 6x scope. Barrel is 24” in high gloss blue with no maker marks. Measures .660 at barrel. One small mark on left side of barrel about diameter of #2 lead pencil lead just in front of forearm, and a small indentation about 2x that size on left butt stock cheek piece. Some light bluing wear on muzzle edge from going in and out of cases.
With this also have Lee .35 whelen dies, 97 pcs new primed hornady brass, 3pcs 1x fired hornady brass. 19 1x fired Norma brass. 4- 50count boxes of 225 grain sierra fame kings # 2850, 70 pcs 225 grain nosler accubonds. Will provide load data to buyer. Have about 50 rds through it but do not know actual round count. Bore is bright.
