I keep a written record of all my passwords and I still miss one once in a while.
I hate chaptchas. Even though I have a 22" monitor, they still sometimes are so fuzzy that I can't make out what they are.

We have been using the MSecure app for a long time. It has templates for more than passwords and been super handy. I am more OCD about keeping them current and my wife is hit and miss. It will update her app when I make a change of vice/versa.

There are several good password saving programs. I have used Roboform for years. It isn't free, but it isn't expensive. It is well-encrypted, syncs across numerous machines, fills forms, and is multi-platform. I have to remember one master password to open it, and it does all the rest.

I'm going to need a new laptop pretty soon. I got a message from Hewlett Packard that they no longer support mine. Do they even make a laptop these days that's not a touch screen? I just don't have the touch for touch screen anything anymore.

My computer fried the other day and I had to replace it. All wireless which was fun Mouse is awfully sensitive so still working with it. They said I could use my old keyboard and mouse if necessary. I hooked them up and they'll work if the new ones quit. Damn thing went wonky on me last night and this AM when I got up the light that shows connection to the WWW was bright red, Took 45 minutes for Century Link to get it back up. Seems to be working OK now. I got one with a bigger screen and so far I'm liking it. The old "puter" lasted a little over 10 years. Hope this one, a refurb lasts just as long.

Mine is “password”. I use it for everything.

Easy peasy.

That is an excellent one also. The best part for me about using these is when my wife asks me "what is the password for?...." I don't have to lift a finger. I tell her to check Msecure and my job is done.

When my current tower computer dies, I'm seriously looking at one of the new mini-machines. They're not much bigger than a sandwich but have plenty of RAM and storage - and all the processing power I need. I'm not a gamer, so that's a pretty low threshold.

Wouldn't life be easier if everyone used that?

If you forgot, you could just yell out................"Hey Bob, what's my password again"

And everyone in the room would answer.

I use a laptop but when I'm at home I set it off to the side with a wireless keyboard and mouse and a 22" monitor. It works like a tower but I can take it along when we go somewhere.

I recently bought an ipad, mainly to use OnX and other map programs when we're off 4 wheeling somewhere. A pad makes the maps bigger than a phone and it's easier to find the trails. Since it can do everything I need, it's good for traveling. When the laptop dies, I'll probably replace it with a cheap tower.

I use date related passwords. Give me the date, and it may be 20 years back, and I'll know the password for that document or system.

Victoro I just helped a friend's wife get a new laptop and she felt the same way. Almost all seem to be touchscreen now - don't fear it. They are super reliable and you can still use it like a regular laptop. An All-in-one can be very convenient when doing things other than just surfing the web. Like when cooking or working on something and your hands are busy elsewhere. Being able to fold it A-frame style comes in handy. Often beats trying to type when the thing is actually in your lap too.
