For $400 I could just buy a brand new blued 10/22 with a full stock. I'm just not sure a SS 10/22 is worth that much of a premium in a used rifle. I just don't live where moisture and humidity are a problem.

If it's not perfect, I probably wouldn't buy it for $400 either. Like I said, my buddy bought one a while back for $350.00, but it is like new. He's sly though, and replaced the barrel with a green mountain and made the ultimate sleeper out of it. It shoots very well.
