Marxists don't like religion. They don't want the competition for God status. They don't want people thinking they have a duty to anyone or anything but the state. They, like our democrats, want people completely dependent on the state so they can control them.
Religion sometimes creates people of conscience that are worried they might be held accountable in the next life if not in this one for the things they do. Marxists and leftists don't want their comrades worried about traditional morals and right and wrong. They want people only motivated by being a good citizen and winning the favor of the state.
I'm not a Muslim but as a religious person I respect their right to peacefully worship as they wish. Keyword being peaceful although Trump haters don't understand that peaceful and patriotic are OK. They, like the Chinese believe the only thoughts that are OK are the ones they approve.

The Chinese have been coming in for last five or six years, all these grow farms in these states that have legalized medical cannabis in last ten years are full of them working on farms, 20 to 30 at each location, all military age . China uses companies in Houston to buy up land from elderly for double to triple going rate, normally places with metal barns that they can convert to grow houses, these guys are much bigger men than what I have ever seen, these states have know idea what they allow to come in their communities when they pass these laws, 10 to 20 farms in each county , that’s a lot of men that could go after ranchers and real farmers at night out in rural areas, these SOB are here and have been, local sheriff’s were totally unprepared for this invasion that politicians created, sheriff’s have been using any legal means they can come up with to shut these down, but pot growers have a lot of money and lawyers, when you see them in towns buying they now have their families, they ship this pot out in trucks during night all over country, it’s not for medical purposes.
