Nice size knife. Why so many makers doing sheaths with no belt loops lately?

I never wear a fixed blade on my belt, or very rarely. My knife resides in my pack until needed. I realize lots of others may do it differently, but no loop really doesn’t affect me personally. Nice knife, by the way!

It is a preference of course . I don't specify to a maker ,but have sent Nick some notes about this . In my opinion 7+" or so hunters ,probably should get a loop as the knife still can go in the pack with the loop. Fillets/boners ,well,I personally don't think they need a loop

I did however ordr from Larry Parsons ,a belt loop sheath for this one and Nick's black one ,in case someone see's this and would want either knife with a bet loop sheath
