The AGM Rattler does have a standby mode.
My buddy said before he got an external power supply, his would last only a couple of hours. The new V2 version is getting much better battery life, like 9 hours in good conditions, I’m sure cold weather will shorten this but they come with 2 batteries.

FWIW , since we’re back from SHOT Show the V2 has been one of the biggest sellers in this category and the feedback has been excellent

Curious world we occupy. Friend of mine suggested the IRAYUSA brand. Googled it, gasped at the prices and left. Their web site returned repeatedly after that and I could not make it stop popping up on my 'puter until I delved into the browser security.
BTW, their scopes are made in CHINA. -HINT-

Trying to pull everything together, was thinking of putting it on a 6.8spc but its not accurate enough.
