As some of you guys know, I lost my brother a couple months ago to liver cancer. Today I was able to get his Dan Wesson V-bob, my grandpa's pocket watch and a pocket watch he won in Senior Pro bronc riding, from his estate. The DW came in his favorite holster, a Rhodesian from Eric Little. I'd still like to somehow come up with his full size DW Valor and his little DW CCO. There is also a few rifles of his I'd like to have a chance at. His Galil's and maybe the little Remington pump that takes AR mags.

Certainly not just “another gun”….a very nice gun and a couple nice watches. Terrific way to remember your brother.

Sorry to hear about your brother. He had good taste in firearms, that DW is a beauty, and nice leather to go with it.

Sorry to hear about your brother huntsman. Fine choice in 1911s though. Dan wessons rival the semi-custom 1911s out there. Id out one up against just about any brand! Owned them all and you cant beat the dw for quailty and accuracy for the price

The love for a fine pistol obviously was in the bloodline. Family treasures, all three.

Glad you were able to get those family heirlooms Brother!

My son, Mike, really wants one of those Remington 7615's as well.......however since they're discontinued, prices are north of $2,000.00 for them! Remington would be very wise to bring them back!

Again, nice pistola and pocket watches. I look forward to seeing them next time I stop in!

Love to see family guns come back to family that appreciates them and not sold to the local gun store for 50cents on the dollar. Glad you got a couple peace's from your brothers estate.

I love the simple classy lines of all three pieces. You chose great pieces to use and remember.

Hang in there buddy!

Man, do I hear you. I hate that. See it all the time. The "family" is everything from nutbag liberals scared schitless of guns and just "don't want guns in their house" to bug-eyed crack and meth heads who take $.10 on the dollar for the dead guy's stuff. It is what it is, as they say.

Huntsman22: So sorry to hear of the passing of your brother!
May he rest in peace.
Those are some nifty items to have of his and to remember him by.
Good luck in gathering those other items of his you want.

Sharp looking rig. Having lost my Dad a couple years ago, it amazes me how good some of his guns feel in my hands or on my hip. I may have better or nicer that fill their nitch, but having his just feels better.
