10 pm, short but fairly loud rumble.

Thought kid knocked something over in her room. Nope.

Somebody on porch clunkin or messin w front door.

Called non emergency PD and told em.

Maybe somebody visiting nearby and wrong house?

They were on foot though

LOL….well ok.

Wouldn't like that very much.

Spend the coin on a Ring doorbell and a couple of their outside cameras. I am pleased with the units and company interactions.



Added, I really like being able to check everything without getting my lazy arse out of bed.

Spooked the kid and ol lady.
They thought I fell coming in, getting something out of vehicle.

Get yourself a doorbell camera.

Its friggin 26 degrees w high humidity.
Kinda chilly to be hoofin it through the hood.

Will check w neighbor guy tomorrow, see if his buds got wrong address LOL

About 25 or 26 years ago when we were first married we lived in a lake front cabin up lake Chelan in relative solitude. My wife worked for Airlift Northwest at the time and frequently was gone overnight so it was just the dog, the cats and me. I’d gone to bed when I heard commotion and thumping upstairs on our deck. I grabbed my 4” .357 Dan Wesson and made my way upstairs quietly not wanting to alert whoever was on my deck. In the short time that it took me to get upstairs I had a million possible scenarios go through my head and everyone of those scenarios involved Mexicans….being in apple and cherry orchard country we saw a lot of migrant workers come up for harvest and I was sure that it was them. When I rounded the corner where I could see down the hallway and out on to the deck I didn’t see anyone or any shadows which would’ve been cast since I had the deck lights on. Just then I heard another thump thump and I saw an apple roll across my deck and it occurred to me that it wasn’t a wetback but an animal. I slowly opened the door and walked out to confront the 2 raccoons that were trying to steal my apples that I kept in a wooden apple box. They hissed at me and jumped on the wood post and walked down it with ease. They sure got my heart rate up but I was happy that it wasn’t a person since we lived where crime was almost unheard of and despite the temporary and seasonal influx of wetbacks we never had any problems with them whatsoever, they didn’t cause problems and kept a low profile back then….but those damn coons were trouble. 😂

I hope you have the same problem as me and it’s coons causing the ruckus.

Hopefully stupid stuff and not of ill intent.

No delivery.

It was fairly loud, but my hearing sucks so hard to tell what or where (esp since I was in back room).
Kids room was closest.

And if they did that's where theyd scoop em up.

Never had a prob here, in over 10 yrs.
Street light across the way.
Snow on the ground.
Pretty visible.

Everything is locked. As it should be.

Just strange that somebody would be messing w my door at 10pm.

Ive had raccoons try to get in my old house.
Told the ol lady to keep the cat food away from the back door LOL

Everything checked good, so called non emergency # (30 mins later) to report it should others have similar complaints.

P 365 is always close by.
