I have had many 99's before but not the C model. Are there any problems with the clip fed action over vs the rotary magazine models? Also, I am assuming the accuracy is the same?

Lots of folks use the “C’s” for wildcats. Other than that, tradition. The pre mill’s ARE the 1899/99. The post mill’s, especially the “C”, are some aberration from another planet. I have a C I’ve been tinkering with fo 3-4 years. Maybe this year will be the one.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

The vast majority of 99C's are perfectly fine hunting rifles.
That being said, I think we see more "issues" with postmils than premils. But the rate of problems is low.

I have a 99C series a in .308. When I got the rifle it wouldn't feed from the clip. Tried bending the lips on the aftermarket magazine/clip. Still wouldn't feed reliably. Bought a new one from Numrich. After slightly bending the feed lips it fed perfectly. If yours need to be " adjusted " go easy, it doesn't take much. I also rubbed a little gun oil on the underside to help it along. I'm getting 1" groups with Federal Fusion 165 grain.

I had a 99C .308 for awhile. Bought it in 1985. Perfectly good rifle, no problems, good accuracy with factory ammo. Came with one magazine, bought a second mag - easy to find in the 80s, no feed problems with either mag. BUT... came across a 99F in .308, wasn't looking for multiples in same caliber, sold the 99C to one of my cousins. He still has it - I should have kept it.

I use the 99C variant because it allows me to use the 450 Bushmaster. I also have .308's in 99C with no trouble with any of them except one someone tried to do a trigger job on which resulted in consistent slam fires that was easily cured with NOS parts replacement. All accurate, fine handling, and quite usable in the field.
