sometime back the state of Texas or somebody within had some kind of a bill about suppressors that were made in Texas and never left the state of Texas would tell the ATF to pound sand. did this bill ever pass is it still in limbo did it get shot down just curious about this..

It passed but, like other states' bills along similar lines, it has no teeth. All they've done is eliminate any state level law enforcement action if a person makes a suppressor or sells one to a resident of their state. The Feds will still come get you if you don't Form 1 / Form 4 and unlike weed, they actually will and will happily kill you and your whole family in the process and burn your house down and CNN will lie about it to cover for them.

Right now the Texas AG is suing the ATF in Federal court over their right to take any action in the face of the bill but the case is still meandering through the courts.

We need to quit depending on the judicial system and politicians to bring any amount of common sense back to our nation.

Not gonna happen.

It has happened, more than once in the past, that SCOTUS has reached out and told states, "What you're doing is unConstitutional and you must reverse your ruling!"

As an example:

SCOTUS can (and should!) overrule NYC in it's Trump "persecution" trial.

SCOTUS can (and again...SHOULD!) overrule Biden in his "student loan forgiveness" racket.
Biden is literally thumbing his nose at SCOTUS.
