It seems south America is starting g to wake up. Argentina and El Salvador, I am curious as to the future of Panama
The problem is they rarely stay awake long. As soon as a few start to be successful the envy sneaks back in or they get too carried away the other direction and end up with a brutal dictator again anyways. They almost need a benevolent dictator for a few decades to straighten things out the problem is that absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Many of the anti communist guys our cya has propped up have been almost as bad as the Marxists. The guy running El Salvador now is off to a good start but he's walking a very fine line that most struggle to find a good balance on. Putting violent criminals in jail does seem like a logical place to start its just the process can get messy quick.
I don't know what the answer is for their culture but who better than them to figure it out. It does seem that some things are universal like punishing bad behavior and rewarding good behavior. Pretty much the opposite of what the left always does.
