Happened for about 12 hours today and has been restored. The outage affected millions of AT&T users.
Homeland Security is investigating whether it was due to a technical fault or whether hackers had gotten into the system. Recent solar flares were eliminated as a possible cause.

affected some of my co workers - we're all on AT&T on company phones.
not sure why some in the office got hit and others didn't. I didn't have a problem
